Apple News: Arctic Flight (iPad stand/cover fits airline tray-table)
The Arctic Flight is a compact, lightweight case and stand (patent pending) that drastically improves the ergonomics of using an iPad. In addition, this stand includes a novel feature that allows the stand to be attached quickly and easily to the closed tray-table of an airline seat, while allowing the user to tilt the display, use portrait or landscape orientation, and adjust the position of the display in both the vertical and horizontal directions. With the tablet attached in this manner, the user has hands-free access to the all of the tablet features and allows the passenger to, for example, watch video on the tablet while sitting back comfortably.

Programming News: Ruby Clojure Integration
Lately I’ve been looking into the Clojure programming language, a Lisp that’s implemented on top of the JVM. One of the aspects of Clojure that I’m interested in is its ability to integrate into existing projects, especially Ruby projects. Since Clojure runs on the JVM and already integrates with Java it should be easy to integrate into a Ruby project run on JRuby. I discovered the JRuby Clojure Bridge gem, called jrclj, that does just that.
