Soon we will enter our blue sky period, no clouds, over the Delta which lasts for about 6 months. Thanks to the rain yesterday we ended up with lots of clouds this morning. What is interesting about it is that the cloud covers are very different depending where you are at. These photos are showing the cloud formations over the Delta and the Foothills. To the North (Photos 1 & 2) the clouds are moving away, clearing out, whereas to the South (Photos 3 & 4) the clouds are covering Mount Diablo and most of the foothills and it looks like possibly some more rain closer to the coast.
