Lilies (Lilium) – Project 365

Our Lilium (members of which are true lilies) have decided to bloom as well. Like yesterday I used the Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens. I selected a wide open aperture, F/2.8, to blur the background. BTW, Lilies are a group of flowering plants which are important in culture and literature in much of the world. Most species are native to the temperate northern hemisphere, though their range extends into the northern subtropics. Enjoy!
