2017’s First Sunrise

Here is my first set of photos taken on the first day of the year for 2017’s Project 365. I decided to start of the year with catching the first sunrise. Normally it is more colorful, but today the weather did not cooperating. As mention in my previous posts, this week I will use only my Sony DT 35mm F/1.8 SAM lens. I used the Program mode, with a aperture setting of f/8, White Balance was set to cloudy and ISO was on automatic. I addition I used 3-shot bracketing with +/- 0.5 EV.

The first 3 shoots selected are using my original aperture setting, the last one uses the -0.5 EV version with a f/9 setting. Shutter speed and ISO setting were selected by the camera’s system because of the selected Program mode. All photos were taken with my Sony SLT α77.

For the rest of this week I will continue to only use my Sony DT 35mm F/1.8 SAM lens for some landscape photos around the local parks. Time permitting I will publish them during the week under the Albums>Project 365>2017>January, otherwise they will be available on next Sunday.
