As in week 1 because of the heavy rain, the access road closed because mudslides, the results of the overnight heavy rain. Plan B for day 6 was to take photos of the very colorful sunrise, that was not an option today. That left me with plan C.
All four photos are at the Somersville Road entrance to the Black Diamond Mines Regional Park. As can be seen the access road winds itself between the two hills whose ground because is saturated due to the large amount of rain over the last 3 weeks.
For the photos in this set the 75mm FL is just right, however as mention yesterday, the background is also pulled in and it is harder to determine what the real distances are.
All photos were taken with my Sony SLT α77 and Minolta AF 50mm F/1.7 lens, using Aperture mode, with a setting of f/11, White Balance set to cloudy, ISO to 200 and 3-shot bracketing with +/- 0.5 EV. No post-process adjustments were made to the photos.
