The day did start with another big bang, right after my 09:00 PM (Day 17), I was overcome by nausea resulting in vomitting. As with my pain attack yesterday I am told that it this is due me starting my Revlimid regiment.
As to the rest of the night, it was a good one, with lots of sleep thanks for the pain level being under control with the fentanyl patch.
At breakfast I was told that I will be discharged this afternoon, because of that my activities shifted to get ready for the drive home. All in all it was a good day with visits from the PT team to make sure I was able to walk without falling, doctors checking on my pain levels and management. There was also the paperwork that one must sign, and last but not least, there is the ordering and picking up of the new medication regiment.
I left the hospital late afternoon and started to settle in back home for my first meal, half of a Crispy Thin Crust Margherita Pizza from California Kitchen and a Cesar Salad.
After that I watch some TV before calling a day. All in all it was a good day.
