This was the fifth good night in a row with lots of good sleep and no pain. My nausea issue seems to under control thanks to addition of the Transderm Scop patch. The only issue left is the pain (cramp) in my left leg, from the hip joint to halfway down my upper leg.
The morning was used to get ready for the afternoon’s Carfilzomib treatment via infusion pump. Since it is day 1 of 2
Today will be the day I will take all three treatments, starting in the late morning with Dexamethasone, followed by afternoon’s Carfilzomib and in the evening by Revlimid.
My afternoon’s Carfilzomib treatment lasted about 2 hours, most of that time was for hydration and pre-meds infusion. The chemo infusion itself lasts about 10-15 minutes.
After returning home, I rested for about an hour, before having had a sandwich for dinner. It seems my appetite is slowly coming back. I watch a bit of TV before going back to bed.
