What a difference a day can make. Woke up with no pain or discomfort like yesterday day. This changed a bit just before breakfast as lightheadedness started, which forced me to stay in bed. After breakfast and a bit of rest, I help Dianne with cleaning out our wardrobe. I guess after 27 years besides clothing lost of other stuff has found its way in this oversized wardrobe. The good news besides getting the job done, was the fact the only pain I had by the end was the standard shoulder-back-shoulder surgery pain but no upper leg/buttock pain.
After lunch I walk around our backyard with no assistant walker or cane. I stopped just as my back-shoulder pain started to reach its limit. I therefore retired to one of our lawn loungers with an ice pac and my new MacBook to start writing this posting. Because of my movability limitation we did not have our 4th July party. This is the first time since 1991.
After about two hours, as it got to hot, I returned inside to watch a movie, Beauty and the Beast (2017) with Dianne and Denise before dinner. After dinner we watch Assassin’s Creed. I know not you typical July 4th celebration activity, nor was our dinner, which was Bratwurst, pork and beens, potato salad and macaroni salad.
After the movie I went upstairs for a shower before going to bed for some rest to help falling asleep.
UPDATE: It is now 10:30 PDT and since 8:30PDT the fireworks are in full force making it impossible to get to sleep. Guess this will go on to at least Wed 5th 1:00 PDT. The good news, it is only once a year.
