2017-11-07 Recovery Day 246

Today was a very good day:

  • on the good side:
    • no cancer related pain
  • on the bad side:
    • surgery related back pain, and
    • some very little stomach pain

I will stop providing night updates UNLESS they are important. I got up at 6:30, eat breakfast and rested had planed to get read for my Skype call with Francois at 8:00. However at 7:30 the workers showed up 1/2 hour earlier. After getting their stuff in order, such as unlocking gates, etc., I was just in time to start my call with Francois.

After my call with Francois ended, I went for my walk with my neighbor Dean. Gary was not able to join today because of another project he was involved with. After returning from our walk I rested for 30 minutes before starting to give our bench, in front of our house, a light sanding. The plan is to apply a thin coat of wood oil before we put the bench back on the new surface.

After lunch I watered the flowers and went for a small walk before I went upstairs to my office to sort some paper work. Before I could start I got a FaceTime from my uncle Don. We chatted for some time, long enough that I had no time to work on sorting my paper work, and instead I went downstairs since Dianne just got home.

In summary today was a very good day. There is nothing to add. That’s it for today.
