Today was a excellent day:
- on the good side:
- no cancer related pain, and
- no stomach issues
- on the bad side:
- surgery related back pain
Today was a repeat of yesterday, with the exception of the details for some of the regular activities. I talked with Ray around 8:30. The contractors did not start until 11:00, I walked with Gary instead of Dean which is normal for Thursday. After the walk Gary and I talk to Harry and Mary, our neighbors across the road. These days it is difficult to catch Harry outside since he spends much time at doctor offices. It was nice to be able to chat with him for about 30 minutes.
Today I spend much of my time in my office updating my computers and figuring out the new layout for my office. I also spend some time helping the workers with testing the sprinklers system for leaks due to pipes were broken by stakes during the walkway framing. It turned out that there were 3 breaks.
Dianne came home a bit early again, just around the time we tested the three fixes of the sprinkler water lines. The fixes were fine but one of the sprinkler heads broke and needed to be replaces. With all of us helping we got the work done shortly before dinner.
In summary, today was a excellent day. That’s it all for today. I hope that tomorrow will be the same, another excellent day.
