2018-03-14 Recovery Day 373

Today was a not a good day. I was able to get up at 6:30, my normal time. I encounter up to then no real complains. Shortly after I got up, got dressed and walked downstairs, my temperature had risen 101.2F. I took 2 Tylenol which got the temperature down 99.8, however at the same time I broke out in sweat. I had a light breakfast so that I could take my regular medication. A short time later it was time for Dean to drop me of at the Cancer Center for my all-day infusion session.

The session starts with taking my vitals and asking was there any not normal since the last session. I reported about the last 3 morning the issues I had. The next step was to setup the infusion lines into my port and draw blood for testing. As we waited for the test result, my temperature was rising again and I started to sweat again. My doctor came and gave me a short examination. She concluded that taking the blood test results into account together with my symptoms I had an infection somewhere in my body that needed to be eliminated before continuing my treatment. I was subscribed antibiotics to take for a week.

Getting back home after my session was canceled I rested for the rest of the day, noticing that I had cycles of sweat. That is it for today, in summary, today was not a good day.
