2018-03-15 Recovery Day 374

Today was a better day. The night was not as bad as before when waking up at 4:00 with some issues. Instead of that I was not able to sleep very well as I was up and down every hour. I was able to get up at 6:30, my normal time with no fever, my temperature was 97.4F. I had a light breakfast so that I could take my regular medication.

Today I walked alone since Dean had a doctor’s appointment. After getting back home I rested for bit before trying to call Canada Services to get starting with our Canada Pension application. I have tried calling every day for 4 weeks, with no luck to connect. Finally today I got to talk to a real person. It took over 2 hours to get things started. The next step is to fill out the documents they are sending.

After lunch I started with the Social Security Administration to apply for my retirement payments. It was not with issues, to many to write about, to keep it short, it took in the end also a call with a human, another 2 1/2 hours.

Last but not least I wanted to fix a problem with DIRECTV that bug me for a week, but after an hour of online chatting with two different agent, I gave up and will try maybe tomorrow.

The rest of the day I rested until dinner, which was not a long time. After dinner we watch some TV before retiring for the night.

That is it for today, in summary, today was a better day.
