You may have noticed that my posting now have at the end a Picture of the Day. At the start of January I stated that I would start another Project 365 for 2018.
For those not familiar with Project 365 it is a time honored photo-a-day challenge. For details (and tips) see How to Take a Photo a Day and See Your Life in a Whole New Way.
I started my first Project 365 in 2013 and repeated it again in 2015. I started my third project in 2017 but had to stop it when I was diagnosed with cancer and spend most of my time in bed not able to take photos. Things have improved for 2018 in that I have taken at least 4 photos each day so far in 2018. I started with creating the album page for January but had to stop because of time constrains.
Now that my treatment cycle for infusion is every 2 weeks I have the time to continue, even catch up, with linking the photos I have taken to the daily posting as well as the album pages. For starters, each entry for April has now a Picture of the Day which is one of the four photos for that day as found on the Album page for that month.
Since I take most of the time more then four photos of the subject for that day, you can see them on my Flickr account.
In closing, answering the question Why are you doing this, taking a picture every day? I learned a lot during the past projects, but there is still so much more to learn. There is nothing better then in my view then taking photos every day. Further, now that I am also have to deal with cancer, this activity helps me to forget for awhile about it and instead bringing joy to my life which I love to share with you.
