2018-05-05 Recovery Day 425

Weather-wise still no change from the pattern we have over the last week. I am not complaining about it, it is what it is, just right for me, not to hot but sunny. Health-wise I started with some dizziness after getting up, which I control with Zofran. Today we went out for breakfast at Big Bear in Oakley to celebrate Mother’s Day. I enjoyed a California Bacon (Eggs Benedict) with country roasted potatos.

Yes, the celebration is a week early, but since I will start next week another treatment session, and who knows how the side effects will be, we played it safe by going out today, since I am feeling good.

After breakfast we stopped at Lowe’s for some garden stuff, followed by Walmart for some Groceries before getting back home. The rest of the day, with help from Dean and his wife, was spend working in the garden or getting missing things from Lowe’s. We even took a drive to BevMo for some premixed Margarita to celebrate today’s Cinco de Mayo. It was a very busy active day for all of us. In my case I needed to rest for an hour before dinner as my back was acting up a bit.

For dinner today we had Beef Bean Cheese and Rice Burrito with a drink of Mango Margarita. After dinner we watched some TV before calling it a day. That is it for today, in summary, today was a very good day.
