Today was almost a good day. I still have the dizziness and stomach queasiness after getting up. For details start reading posting 2018-08-10 Recovery Day 522. I am also still waiting for the Transderm Scop (Scopolamine) patch to kick in. Being the 3rd day after my treatment day, I experienced bone pains as a side effect from the Zometa. The pain level was reduced because of taking Claritin-D before and after treatment. Today I also had for the first time lightheadedness after lunch. On the positive side, I did not have diarrhea like the last time.
Activity wise, Dianne and I stayed home at the start of the day when Dianne and Denise went to the Brentwood Farmers Market. I needed some time to overcome my morning dizziness and stomach queasiness. After they returned, Dianne and I walked along the Delta de Anza Regional Trail which runs parallel to the Contra Costa Water District’s canal. The trail is very long, too long for us to walk from start to end. We started at Via Dora and walked to about Wild Flower Drive before turning around. As to my PICTURE taking, Dianne was a great help in spotting and identifying good photo subjects.
Getting back from our walk Denise joint us to pick up our other car which was in for repairs. Since it was lunch time, we actually had lunch before getting our car. Afterward, we did some shopping, first at Lowe’s and Home Depot looking for some T-molding, which they did not have. The next and last stop was Target before returning home.
Being back home I started to have lightheadedness which lasted for most of the afternoon. I limited my activities to rest and working on this posting. For dinner, we had leftovers from today’s lunch, MOD Pizza, with a Caesar salad. Afterward, we watch a movie before calling it a day.
