2018-08-27 Recovery Day 539

Today was a good day that started with no dizziness, stomach queasiness or bone pain after getting up. Even the shoulder pain, a result of the spine surgery, was at a low pain level. However, it did feel pain on my right side of the area I fell on yesterday. As the day progress the stiffness did not disappear, actually, my shoulder pain level also increased. I seem to have overdone my activity instead of resting.

As to today’s activities, before going out for my morning walk with Dean, I had a Skype session with Jurgen in Germany. After the call we walked along a new trail I found, which runs trough Diablo West Park, starting at Mokelumme Drive and ending at Deer Valley Road. It is about a mile one way and has an elevation of 72 feet, giving us a good workout and PICTURES.

After getting back home I spend some time with Andy who worked on our fence. By the time he was done, it was lunchtime. After lunch, I spend some time calling Canada Services and did afterward some computer time on getting the forms and information about my Canadian Pension Request.

Afterward, I went over to Deans to check out the videos he found to help us with some core exercise for Senior. We plan to start adding those to our daily exercise routine in a week or two.

By the time we were done Dianne came home and joined Dean and Margaret in their backyard for a get-together since we all have not had a chance to do just that. It was late by the time we went back home for dinner. We had dinner and watch another movie before calling it a day.
