2018-11-02 Recovery Day 606

Today was another good day! Health-wise things were almost normal today. I had an early stomach and dizziness issue around 2:00 AM, taking my medication for it, I was fine when I got up around 7:30. No other health-related issues showed up for the rest of the day, this included no ankle or hip pains. As to my shoulder pain, sometimes the pain level is very low to still be part of a good day. Today, the shoulder pain was at an acceptable level, which I lowered with some Tylenol.

Activity-wise, the day started with my breakfast. After breakfast, I went for my walk with Dianne, who had taken off the day because our son and grandson are visiting us from Southern California. After returning back home, Dieter and Carsten arrived a few minutes later, good timing!

For the rest of the morning and early afternoon, Dieter helped me with sorting out and rerouting my ethernet wiring for my 10 connected devices in my office. Over the years adding and removing devices the cabling got rather messed up. Because of my spine surgery, I am not able to twist and bend my body in ways required to get the job done. Dieter did a great job helping me doing the physical labor part.

After the rewiring was done, Carsten and I went over to Margaret’s (Dean’s wife) backyard to take some PICTURES of her Backyard, part of he current “Fall Back or Front Yards” theme. Carsten had a great time taking to Margaret about her flowers, fruit trees and vegetables in her garden.

Getting back home, it was time for some resting, watching TV and a movie, Ant-Man and The Wasp, with Carsten. In between the TV and Movie, we had dinner. In short – It was a good day. The day ended with us doing bit more TV watching and talking to relax before calling it a day.
