2018-11-03 Recovery Day 607

Today was another good day! Health-wise things were again almost normal. I had some early stomach cramps due to the side effects of the Dilaudid I had taken a few days ago. The good news, having the cramps now followed by the related bowel movements, ended the Dilaudid cycle, things were now back to normal. As to my shoulder pain, it was at an acceptable level, which I lowered with some Tylenol. No other health related issues showed up for the rest of the day, this included no ankle or hip pains.

Activity-wise, the day started with my breakfast. After breakfast, which stretched over an hour because we did not get up at the same time, and being a weekend, some of us slept a bit longer than others. By the time the last one was done, it was time for my morning walk. Today, I went for my walk with Carsten and Dianne. We to take some PICTURES of Front Yards, part of the current “Fall Back or Front Yards” theme. The idea was to show the difference between in appearance between Spring and Fall. Not all front yards had been maintained lately.

For the rest of the morning and early afternoon, we played some Echo Button games or just rested for a bit. In between we had lunch. Dieter helped me before lunch fixing the van’s back hutch door, replacing the lift support. Shortly after lunch, Dieter and Carsten left to visit friends in Concord. Their plan is to stay with them until after dinner.

Dianne, Denise and I left shortly after they had left to go shopping at Home Goods, T.J. Maxx, Michaels and Trader Joe’s. Returning back home and after unpacking, I spend some time in our backyard uploading today’s pictures and started to write this posting. Today’s late afternoon’s weather was just too good to stay inside the house.

Getting back inside for dinner, it was time to end the day as we do for most days, ending with us doing a bit more TV watching and talking to relax before calling it a day. In short – It was a good day.
