2018-11-09 Recovery Day 613

Today was another so-so day! Starting with the health-related items, the day started with dizziness and stomach issues. My shoulder’s comfort/pain level was at an elevated pain level, then normally at the start of the day. However, no hip or ankle pain. For most of the day, my stomach pain and dizziness did not go away, even with taking the medication as prescribed, if anything it kept it in check, not allowing to take over.

Activity-wise, I started with a light breakfast, toast and chamomile tea, since I was scheduled for an MRI in the morning. After two (2) hours lying on my back, not moving, it was a bit of relief to go with Dean for a walk. However, even walking slowly my back and shoulder pain was slowly increasing, forcing me to get back home and rest before having my Friday lunch with Bill and Larry.

After our lunch I took some PICTURES of my neighbor backyard, down a few houses on a corner lot, part of the current “Fall Back or Front Yards” theme. I got back home just in for Dianne to come home to pick me up to go to our back for notarizing some papers part of our land sale in Texas. It took almost two hours for all the documents to be reviewed, signed and notarized. We dropped by at FedEx Office to send the documents back to Texas.

All this activity did not help with lowering my pain levels, therefore getting back home it was time to rest as much as possible. I quickly uploaded the photos I took earlier to my laptop and after changing the filename to included the date and time, to Flickr. Next was to start writing this post, which I finished after dinner. For dinner I just had a light chicken noddle soup to help settle my stomach.

The day ended as most days, watching TV after dinner to relax before calling it a day. In short – It was another so-so day, maybe even a bad day.
