Today was a good day, with the shoulder and lower back pain being the only health-related issues for most of the day. Interesting enough, since I forgot my cane on our shopping trip, walking around without one, especially in the stores, was not as bad as I had envisioned. Yes, it did increase my lower back pain, but not my shoulder pain, therefore limiting my walking time just a tiny bit.
As to my activities today, for starters, there were the car rides, about 60 minutes each way along some bumpy road, especially along CA 116. It did not increase my lower back pain. I did some shopping at the ADIDAS store getting a German Fußball Team Jersey, a nice long sleeve top and a pair of training pants, all for very, very low prices.
My other stop was at the Sketchers store, I did not find any new shoes since I still have a few that I have not worn yet. I did find a nice shirt that was half price. Since I had just received a $10 reward via email that covered the cost of the shirt, I went to pay for it. However, as I provided the sales lady with my account info, she informed me that I had $100 in my reward account. Making a long story short, instead of pay for the shirt and leaving $90 in my account that may expire soon, we continued to shop. Dianne found a great pair of shoes that were great that she got a second pair, which is automatically at half price. The final tally was that for the $100 we got 2 pairs of shoes and 2 nice tops, all in all, a great surprise.
Halfway through our shopping, we had an early lunch at Freebirds, the Burrito guys. I enjoyed my hybrid chicken Burrito, I wish we had a Freebirds in our neighborhood. As to the shopping, Denise and Dianne did also some shopping at their favourite stores, getting some good deals.
Close to 1:00 PM we started our trip back home. As to my PICTURES taking, I took pictures on our way to and from the Vacaville’s Outlet Stores. No particular subject just whatever came across the camera and I liked it.
Getting back home I spend the rest of the day cleaning out my laptop, watching some TV at the same time, processing and uploading today’s photos to Flickr and writing this posting for uploading to my website, Klaus’ Korner. The processing took some time since I took almost 100 pictures, which I got down to 50+ by eliminating those that were almost identical or a bit out of focus because they were taken from inside the moving car.
In summary, today was a good day. Since the afternoon showed some improvement regarding my shoulder pain, hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.
