2019-01-02 Living with Cancer – Day 667

Today was another so-so day, however, it is improving and may soon be a good day. I slept until 7:30 before going downstairs for breakfast I got ready for my all-day treatment session. Besides being a bit lightheaded I also had some stomach issues. I took my medication before Dean dropped me off for my all-day treatment appointment at 9:00 PM.

My treatment consists of Daratumumab (trade name Darzalex) bin injected, which takes 5 1/2 hour. Before injecting Darzalex via infusion pump Premeds are injected, followed by Zometa. For the first 3 hours I dozed off, I woke up just in time for lunch. After lunch, it did not take long for me to doze off again. Today’s session ended a bit early, shortly after 3:15.

Before going home, Dianne and I walk across to the Dallas Ranch Middle School to take a few PICTURES of Mount Diablo for a single location. The photos will be part of my project to get back into Photography (My Blogs => Photography). In addition, Dianne located a set of trees that were full of birds, you can view the Pictures HERE.

By the time we got home, Dinner time came around quickly, and after dinner I spend the rest of the evening watching some TV and at the same time, processing and uploading today’s photos to Flickr and writing this posting for uploading to my website, Klaus’ Korner.

In summary, today was a better so-so day. Since the resting for most of the day helped improved my shoulder and back pain, hopefully the trend will continue.
