2019-01-03 Living with Cancer – Day 668

Today was a GOOD day, I slept in until 8:30 before going downstairs for breakfast. I got ready for my walk with Dean. Besides being a bit lightheaded I also had some stomach issues. I took my medication before starting my walk. Since it was very cold, 40F, I dressed in layers, which was good, since at the end of our walk it was only 45F. I stayed at home, resting and be a bit active. The only health-related issue was my lower back pain that took some time to get lower itself to an acceptable level.

AS to my activities, our walk was rather more difficult than anticipated because of the many elevation changes with the highest change being 167 ft. It resulted in my lower back pain rising to a higher level. The reason for picking today’s route was to take PICTURES of Mount Diablo from Empire Mine Road, about 1/3 miles from the Mesa Ridge Road junction.

By the time we got home, it was Lunchtime. I prepared a Tomato soup with rice. After lunch, I spend some time to sort out my photographic equipment to get ready for my project to get back into Photography (see My Blogs => Photography). After that, I spend the rest of the afternoon watching some TV and at the same time, processing and uploading today’s photos to Flickr and writing this posting for uploading to my website, Klaus’ Korner.

In summary, today was a good day thanks for the resting during the afternoon which improved my shoulder and back pain!
