Continuing with the goal to take pictures of Mount Diablo from new locations, today’s set is taken from the other end of Empire Mine Road at the Deer Valley Road junction. However, thick fog obscured the mountain top, but not enough to make it a guessing game, I, therefore, decided to take enough pictures of the mountain and its surroundings.
After arriving at the entry point of the Empire Mine Road trail, I walked for about 1/10 of a mile to find a good location for capturing some PICTURES of Mount Diablo.
Sadly the fog limited the visibility of far objects, which included the mountain. However, one must make the best of whatever the circumstances are, it is part of being a good photographer.
