The plan for today was to take pictures of Mount Diablo from some location in Walnut Creek. Besides finding a good location, there was also the rain to deal with. After having spent over three (3) hours in Walnut Creek and not found a good location, we went home, with a stop at The Veranda, the new Shopping Center on Diamond Blvd in Concord.
Like the day before the weather was not cooperating, However, today it was not the fog that obscured the mountain top, instead, it was the clouds. Like yesterday, there were not enough clouds to make it a guessing game. Therefore I decided to take enough PICTURES of the mountain and its surroundings.
The last few days have shown that Landscape Photography is very different from other types of Photography as it has a strong dependency on the weather. One must learn to take advantage of the opportunities as they show up since one never knows what great things slip by.
