2019-01-20 Living with Cancer – Day 685

Today was another so-so day, starting off the way the last seven days did. Getting up, I noticed tightness in my shoulder which was hurting as well, something that I had not before. The tightness/ain stayed around for most of the day, even after resting at home. In the past, I would take some Tylenol for the pain, which I did but it did not help today. Besides the pain, my mouth was filled with some bad taste. I have had this before and was told that it is a side effect mostly from the chemo treatment. Guess I will have to live with it for now.

Being Sunday I slept in a bit longer than usual. I adjusted my morning routine time wise but that was all. After having spent some time cleaning up I went downstairs for breakfast and taking my morning medication.

As to my photo subject for today, I selected to take PICTURES of our Backyard Friends, a Squirrel and Scrub Jay which liked eating some nuts we leave for them.

After I had taken my photos, Dianne and Denise decided for us to go back to Concord for some more shopping and having lunch at the Sunvalley Shopping Center. Returning home from our Concord trip, I rested since my Shoulder’s tightness and pain level had not gone down. The rest of the day is routine by now, work on finishing my blog entry for the day, have dinner and, watch some TV or movies until it is time to retire.

In summary, because of some minor health issues, such as shoulder and lower back pain, today still turned out to be a so-so day with some good work results.
