Today was a good day, health-wise I have the same side effects that don’t want to go away. However, these side effects have good and bad days as well. Today, some did not show up and others were in full force.
Today started with some dizziness, sweatiness and a bit of stomach rumbling. Over time the dizziness and sweatiness disappeared, being replaced with my lower back pain being at a level 4, which is defined as “Can be ignored, but still distracting.”
Activity wise, I got up at 08:00 and had my light breakfast before my FaceTime call with Ray. Next, I spend some time to download my lab results to send a PDF copy to Dianne. After resting for a bit it was time to get ready and start my morning walk with Dean. Over the last 5 weeks, my walks were not regular, having to skip many because of health reasons or side effects.
Today is the start of getting back to my regular daily activities, starting with my daily walks. Knowing that I have to get back into the rhythm, I started off with an easy route. Today’s walk was 4,919 steps, 2.3 miles and took 55 minutes.
After returning from my walk, I had to rest since my lower back was causing enough pain from my walk. After lunch, I went into our backyard to take some PICTURES of the Cyclamen that is blooming.
I had to rest after my photo taking session as my lower back hurt a bit more than normal. I used the resting time to upload and process the pictures. Next, I finished my writing for the Photography and Living with Cancer blog entries, just in time to have dinner and, watch some TV until it is time to retire.
In summary, overall today was a *good day.
