2019-02-01 Living with Cancer – Day 697

Today was a very bad day, normally it is the Saturday and Sunday after Wednesday’s Chemo Day. It started off OK with me taking my stomach and dizziness pills in the early morning. However, after getting up at 08:00 I had some light stomach cramps and encountered some Dizziness. After getting downstairs and having a light breakfast, the dizziness and cramps got strong, in addition I started to sweat. All I could do is rest, which did good since by 09:45 things were back to normal, allowing me to go for my walk with Dean.

We picked a route close to home just in case I needed to get home quickly. For the first 30 minutes the walk was OK, however the last 10 minutes things got bad. By the time I was back home I was covered in heavy sweat and the dizziness and cramps were strong. I immediately changed my clothing and went downstairs to rest. The rest did me good as I dozed off for a while. For the rest of the day it was an on/off thing with the dizziness and cramps.

As to my activities, there were not many. In the morning before the dizziness and cramps started I went outside into our backyard to take today’s PICTURES of some succulent whose name I don’t know. If you know the name, please let me know. I took the pictures early because of the forecast for heavy rain. As it turns out, had I not done so I would not have any pictures today. Before starting my morning walk with Dean I had a short FaceTime call with Paul. The other activity was my morning walk.

I used my rest period to process my pictures and working on my Living with Cancer and Photography blog entry. Before I know it, Dinner time was approaching. I had a chicken noodle soup. After dinner we watched some TV until it is time to retire.

In summary, overall today was a very bad day.
