Today was a better day, but still not a good day. Things were a bit better after getting up. Every one of my pain locations was active. The Dilaudid I had taken hours before did help in reducing my pain a little bit. However, I still had to deal with dizziness and stomach cramps throughout for the rest of the day. AS I did for the last few days all I could do is rest to keep things in check.
Activity-wise I was able to go for my morning walk with Dianne and take my set of daily PICTURES during it. Getting back from my walk I needed to rest to recuperate. The good news, today’s walk was less painful than those over the past few days. Hopefully, these are signs of better days to come, or the Dilaudid has taken over, we will know soon after my scheduled PET/CT on Wednesday.
There is not much more to write about my activities for the rest of the day. For starters, there is the daily processing of my pictures and working on my Living with Cancer and Photography blog entry with the TV running in the background to break the silence. Around mid-afternoon, I would start dozing off, a sign by my system that my energy level is low and I should really rest. This is the time that dinner is not far away. After dinner, I watched some TV until it is time to retire.
In summary, overall today was a better day, but still, not a good day.
