2019-05-31 Living with Cancer Day 818

Today was another good day, a continuation of yesterday, however, I had a much better sleep. After my morning routine, I got ready for my morning walk with Dean. Overall I was more active today than yesterday, being outside keeping company with Dianne, Dean and the Premenos boys. However, I pushed myself too much, which is not too good. I felt that my energy limit was exceeded and therefore needed to rest.

Today’s activities were keeping company with Dianne before my walk with Dean. Today’s walk was a bit longer and took 17 minutes. Starting and ending Oxygen Saturation rate was 90%, at the 1/4, 1/2 (turn around point) and 3/4 checkpoints they had dropped to 88%. Resting a minute at each checkpoint got the level up to 89%. The good news is that the level did not go below 88% and that recovery speed and rate are very quick.

Being Friday I had lunch with my Ex-Premenos colleagues, at the end of our lunch they helped me with replacing the batteries on my security camera. Dianne had arrived in time to help by getting the right tools from upstairs. I am glad to have friends that not only visit me but also help out doing things I am no longer able to do.

I spend the rest of the afternoon resting ether outside keeping Dianne company or inside working on my computer sorting and archiving documents and photos. My Oxygen Saturation rate stayed at 94% with a pulse rate of 61 to 66 per minute.

That’s it for today, it was a good day with me staying active which should help me with having a good sleep.
