2019-07-01 Living with Cancer Day 847

Today was again NOT a good day. The day started off as planned, still no issues with my new morning routine. Today, I woke up with some lower back pain and a higher than usually shoulder pain, not high enough to take some Dilaudid. After breakfast, I rested to get some relief of the pain before my morning walk with Dean. Shortly after starting our walk, my system crashed again, similar to yesterday’s crash. After about 1/4 of the distance we walk every morning I noticed that my shoulder pain got very high with my oxygen level at 95%. To not overstress my system with continuing the walk, we turned around to go back home.

Being back home, checking my O2 level, with and without oxygen, were very good, 99% to 95%. I took the advice from a number of you and rested not doing anything, including not to use the laptop for anything but FaceTime and iMessage texts. I did follow the advice, with the exception of having a FaceTime session with my cousin in Germany.

After lunch, I went back to rest, work on cleaning up my “Application” folder and listen to some music on Amazon Music. Before I knew it, it was time for Dianne to pick me up for my late afternoon appointment with my Oncology doctor. We went over my new treatment plan and other related topics to get the most of my new treatment.

After dinner, we continued to watch TV which allowed me to finally this posting and watch some more TV until it was time to call it a day.
