2019-11-16 Living with Cancer Day 983

Today was another so-so day, the plan was to get up a bit earlier for Saturday since Dieter, Renee and Carsten had arrived late last night for a short visit. However, I was hit by dizziness and some stomach issues, I, therefore, slept in. Getting downstairs around 9:30 I had a light breakfast before taking my medication. Dianne hooked me up for my hydration so that it was done by lunchtime. I rested during the hydration which helped with my dizziness going down.

Carsten was sent with Dieter to take Denise’s car to the car wash. The reason behind this was to allow Denise, Renee, and Dianne to set up the kitchen and eating nook with a pirate theme as a surprise for Carsten’s 10th Birthday. It was a great surprise, not only for the pirate theme setup but also for the snack and food selection matching the setup.

After lunch, it was time for Carsten to open his presents, let me just say he loved each one of them, especially the Treasure X – Alien Dissection. Carsten was so lucky that the chance to find Real Space Gem, the top price, in this his first Treasure Hunter.

The afternoon turned out to be the time for most of us to do something they like to do, Carsten watched something on his iPad, Dianne and Dieter went shopping, I tried to do some more work on my Google Drive, but dozed off too many times.

Soon dinner time came around for Dieter to order our Pizza dinner. The rest of the evening was spent watching the movie Klaus, just released by Netflix, and I started this blog entry, before calling it a day.
