2020-01-19 Living with Cancer Day 1047
Breakfast in Bed – 07:15:48 PST, 37°F Mostly Cloudy, 4410 Deermeadow Way, Antioch, CA
The day started unofficially at 6:30 with me watching in bed Bayern Munich vs Herta Berlin on my iPhone and wireless earbuds so that I did not wake up Dianne.
Dianne woke up around 7:00 and we turned on the TV to watch the game on the big screen. During the intermission, Dianne went downstairs to make breakfast, French Toast with Cream Cheese and Orange Marmalade. It was out of this world!
Downstairs – 09:58:00 PST, 41°F Overcast, 4410 Deermeadow Way, Antioch, CA
After the game was over I went downstairs, which was not that easy since my shoulder and chest muscle pain limited my movements, such as getting out of bed. Once up, moving around was not too bad.
One thing that I should mention is my medication schedule. It changed with the addition of the eye drops and additional antibiotics. There are now four (4) timeslots: Morning, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime. I don’t know, if I were not for Dianne, how to keep track of it.
I spent most of the morning working on sorting out the backlog of blog entries. I hope to be current by the end of this week.
Lunch – 12:10:14 PST, 45°F Overcast, 4410 Deermeadow Way, Antioch, CA
For lunch we had Bagel Bits with Potato Soup which went well with the gloomy weather. The plan was that after lunch we would take off the rest of the day, by being lazy.
Lazy Day – 13:00:44 PST, 43°F Mostly Cloudy, 4410 Deermeadow Way, Antioch, CA
There is not much to write about, this afternoon and evening was our Lazy time off. We watched some movies and TV shows which helped in relaxing and forgetting for a moment about work or my cancer.
I tried to continue on sort out my blog entries but either the movie took over my attention or I dozed off for a moment.
The only interruption we had was dinner, which was Chicken Pot Pie.
As to my shoulder pain, it got worse as the evening approached. I am not sure what triggered it, it feels like muscle pain, which should slowly go away. We will need to see what tomorrow brings.
