2020-02-17 Living with Cancer Day 1076
General – 06:55:04 PST, 45°F Clear, Antioch, CA
Before I start with today’s report let me start explaining the new subdivisions I will using fo reach day’s report. Over the last few days, I was trying to figure out how to be more consistent with my reporting on what tased place during the day.
After numerous attempts to find a suggestion using google search, I finally came across one suggestion that almost fitted my needs, dividing the day into 4 sections:
Morning 5 am to 12 pm (noon)
Afternoon 12 pm to 5 pm.
Evening 5 pm to 9 pm.
Night 9 pm to 4 am
So today I start with diving the day into 4, possible 5 sections which are:
Morning 05:00-11:00 (5 am to 11 am)
Lunch 11:00-13:00 (11 am to 1 pm)
Afternoon 13:00-17:00 (1 pm to 5 pm)
Evening 17:00-21:00 (5 pm to 9 pm).
Night 21:00-04:00 (9 pm to 4 am) – Optional

Today was the last day of our 3-day weekend. It started with Dianne preparing breakfast in bed for the two of us. It was as always a great breakfast and start of the day, making up for the few bad wake-ups during the night because of foot ankle pain.
I stayed in bed until around 8:15 because I felt very dizzy. Getting downstairs around 8:45, still feeling very dizzy. I took my regular morning medication and a bit later my 9:00 antibiotics. Trying to do some catching up with my blog backlog did not work out because I couldn’t stay awake.
Around 10:00 Dianne and Denise went grocery shopping, which I had planned to join, but because my dizziness could not.

By the time Dianne came back from grocery shopping, my dizziness had gone done a bit. Since my dizziness slowly disappeared I was able to do progress on my photo transfer, from my old iPhone 4s to laptop efforts.
For lunch I had two Hot Dogs, satisfying a craving I had. Afterward, I continued with working on figuring out how to get the thousands of pictures of all our phones on to my laptop. I also worked on updating Dianne’s and Denise’s iPhone 7 to 11. The issue is that both use commercial MS Outlook version which causes some issues with the automated upgrade.
Afternoon (13:00-17:00) – 13:03:06 PST, 70°F Clear, Antioch, CA
We all started finally to rest for the rest of the day, something we had planned first for Saturday, then Sunday, and now Monday, which is the last of our three-day long weekend.
I continued trying to progress my work on the photo transfer and iPhone upgrade. However, instead of any progress, I just stayed where I was, due to my constant dozing off for 10-15 minutes at a time.
As to my pain, whenever I got up, I had to deal with hip and shoulder pains that slowed me down. Further, staying up for more than 10 minutes increased my lower back pain. Getting back to rest in my recliner brought the pain levels down very quickly.
Evening (17:00-21:00) – 14:42:04 PST, 70°F Clear, Antioch, CA
For dinner we had a sandwich with yesterday’s meatballs, which was very good. We watch a Hallmark movie that put us into a relaxing mood. Afterward, we watched some regular TV before retiring for the day.
