2020-02-18 Living with Cancer Day 1077
The day started off with a high level of shoulder pain, however, after adjusting the Dilaudid schedule it started to become acceptable. It also did not help to fight my dizziness and therefore to play it safe I stayed home for the day.
Morning (05:00-11:00) – 06:30:56 PST, 43°F Clear, Antioch, CA
I woke up around 6:00 and started preparing my weather report for Steve at KTVU. After sending it I dozed off, waking up around 7:00. I stayed in bed until around 8:15 because I felt very dizzy. Also, my shoulder pain was at a level 10, not dropping.
As to my right back shoulder pain, it goes now all the way to my right chest area. I, therefore, started, as suggested by my doctor, taking the Dilaudid every 4 hours instead of every 6 hours. The Afternoon will tell me if it helped.
Getting downstairs around 8:45, still feeling very dizzy. I took my regular morning medication and a bit later my 9:00 antibiotics.
At 9:30 I called Apple about my iPhone issue and talked to a real human-being about my upgrading issue. I was promoted to a higher level of expertise, and after 90 minutes we got is fixed.
I had hoped to use the morning time to do some catching up with my blog-backlog, but it did not work out today.
Lunch (11:00-13:00) – 11:00:04 PST, 57°F Clear, Antioch, CA
After the call with Apple, I dozed off until about 11:30. Since the sun was out, I went into our backyard to take today’s photos. Getting back inside it was time to prepare my lunch, two Hot Dogs, afterward I checked on my phone’s upgrade status, it finally completed the transfer since all apps have been reinstalled without any data loss.
Afternoon (13:00-17:00) – 13:01:40 PST, 63°F Clear, Antioch, CA
Shortly after lunch, I dozed off again until Dianne came home. For the next 2 hours, I kept Dianne company doing some housework. The last hour, 16:00-17:00, I finally had time to work on my posting for today.
Evening (17:00-21:00) – 18:09:46 PST, 57°F Clear, Antioch, CA
Around 17:30 we had dinner, after which I continued to finish today’s posting with TV in the background that Dianne and Denise were watching. Afterward, I watched some regular TV with them before retiring for the day.
