2020-02-25 Living with Cancer Day 1083
Just as I was to post this entry, I found out that my Network Switch died on me, for the technical reasons my server could not inform me that 3 hours earlier of the death that took place since there was no internet comment nor did the router see for some unknown reason any problems. Time was running sort last night to find a quick fix, which I just implemented. My replacement switch is ready for pickup and my system should be back up to its fullest capacity.
Overall pain-wise it was a good day, the hip pains are not as bad as the last few days, however, the morning sweats are back. Activity-wise I was able to do more, but it is still limited by strong back pain or hip.
Morning – 06:28:43 PST, 48°F Clear, Antioch, CA
Morning The day started like any other, woke up around 6:30 to collect weather data for Steve at KTVU. After that, I read some of the morning news before I dozed off again. I woke up around 7:30 and started to check my emails and news before getting up around 8:30.
After going downstairs, having a light breakfast and taking my medication I called Dean to check on his plans for the morning.
We went to Lowe’s for some hardware and on the way back we look for trees with pink blossoms. We spend about an hour looking for some good ones to take some photos off.
We return home, I spend about 30 minutes over at Dean’s before going home.
Lunch – 11:42:05 PST, 66°F Clear, Antioch, CA
I got back home shortly be noon for lunch. I made myself a lentil soup and watched Bayern München beat Chelsea 3:0.
Afternoon – 13:10:44 PST, 70°F Clear, Antioch, CA
Around 13:00 (1:00 PM) Dean came over to help me with rewiring the setup we have in the Living room for Dianne and Denise iDevices. It took a lot of energy to assist him. Interestingly, my pain levels did not increase, instead, I sweated a lot.
Activity-wise I did not much as I constantly dozed off trying to do anything, including writing this entry.
Evening – 17:15:08 PST, 70°F Clear, Antioch, CA
Before lunch, I was able to do some work editing the name and description of I have on Flickr. The photo was taken from our hotel room @ Monterey Intercontinental on the evening of the 21st and morning of 22nd February.
After dinner, I continued with the photo album and watched some TV until it was time to retire.
Here is the photo of the day:
