2020-02-26 Living with Cancer Day 1084
Overall pain-wise it was another good day, however, since Monday the morning sweats are back. Activity-wise I was able to do more, but it is still limited by strong back or hip pain.
Morning – 06:18:38 PST, 43°F Clear, Antioch, CA
I woke up around 6:30 to collect the weather data for Steve and dozed off again until about 7:30. I got up to my office to apply the quick fix to get my web server up and running so that I could later one submit yesterday’s posting. I went back to bed before getting up and dressed around 8:15.
Pain wise, even after my work on the server, I only had my shoulder pains at a level 6.
Before my FaceTime call with Ray, I checked with Dean about our plan for today. We agreed to hook up around 10:00, he had to go to Kohls and me to Best Buy.
Ray was a bit late for the call, we talked about our Football teams’ effort in this week’s Champions League and a bit of the upcoming election in California which includes the two parties election of delegates to their conventions.
After the call, Dean and I went to Kohls and Best Buys. Dean return and item to Amazon, where I picked up my new Internet Switch. On the way back I took a few pictures of the pink blooming tree in front of a house around the corner from us.
Lunch – 11:00:22 PST, 63°F Clear, Antioch, CA
After lunch I started to work on updating the photo set “2020-02-21/22 Good Night & Morning” to test it in yesterday’s posting, adding the Photo of the Day and the complete album.
Afternoon – 13:00:16 PST, 70°F Clear, Antioch, CA
I continued the work on the link between Flickr and my postings when Dianne came home. She told me that Dean needed my help fixing the long extension cord he had cut with his saw. I went over to his garage and fix the cord for him.
Getting back home I kept Dianne company by sitting outside in my garden chair working on my laptop, as she did garden work in the front yard. I completed the upload of today’s pictures, and after they were an album inside Flickr, I edited the titles, descriptions, and tags.
Evening – 17:10:28 PST, 70°F Clear, Antioch, CA
We had lunch around 5:30, after which I started to work on today’s blog entry.
As on every evening we watch TV, our recording of episodes. We do so until it is time to end the day.
I will include the Picture of the Day, at the ending of the evening. If it works out and you like it, it will become standard for every posting for now on.
NOTE: Please note the inclusion of the photo is still experimental as I try to get the bugs out. Currently you may see the photo in two overlapping frames when clicking on the photo to enlarge it and get the title, etc.
