2020-03-09 Living with Cancer Day 1096

Today was a good day activity-wise. Health-wise was fine as well, not counting for the sleepiness. There is not much to summarize, just read the blog.

Morning – 06:59:22 PDT, 45°F Clear, Antioch, CA
I woke up a bit late for assembling the weather data to be sent to Steve at KTVU. I dozed off again and got up around 8:00, got dressed and did some more cleaning in my office before going downstairs.

I had my breakfast and took my medication, getting ready to be picked up around 9:15 for my 9:30 Blood draw. Dean called just as I arrived at the Cancer Clinic, telling me that he will pick me up so that Dianne could go straight back to work. I texted Dean after my Blood Draw was done, that I was ready for pickup. BTW, my CBC numbers were very good, Platelets were up to 107 from 80.

We went down Dallas Ranch Road to Black Diamond Estates and found a large entry marker on the corner to Rocking Spring Way, which looked rather interesting.

After taking a set of pictures of it we went home since Dean has an 11:00 doctor’s appointment. However, after getting home, we had enough time to cut me two wood wedges for me to use to secure my two top-shelves which fall a week ago. By the time Dean was done it was time for him to leave for his appointment.

Lunch – 11:08:41 PDT, 57°F Partly Cloudy, Antioch, CA
Getting back home from my Lap Draw and being with Dean taking pictures and cutting two wood wedges, I rested until noon before warming up a bowl of Dianne’s Lentil Soup for lunch. Afterward, I rested for a while before counting with working on my blog and pictures.

Afternoon – 13:02:54 PDT, 61°F Mostly Cloudy, Antioch, CA
After lunch and a short rest, I started to work on my blog entries for Saturday and Sunday. At mid-afternoon, Dianne came home and we went to my office to install the two wood wedges for securing the two top-shelves from falling down. Dianne did a super job on drilling in the screws into the wedges to secure the top and bottom wood shelves.

Afterward, I continued with work on my overdue blog entries until lunch arrive

Evening – 16:48:11 PDT, 64°F Mostly Cloudy, Antioch, CA
With dinner approaching my system started to slow down quickly. After lunch, I was unable to continue working on my blog entries, so I just watched some TV, when I was not dozing. I soon called it a day.
