Last year I started in April with a new Project 365 thanks for my cancer having reached partial remission. I started with photos that I was able to take during my daily walks. As my recovery progresses improved I was able to concentrate on Nature photography, However, there were many days I was not able to take Nature because of the weather or other limitations.
This year I hope to concentrate on Landscape pictures. From my Hello & Welcome page you should know that I love taking Landscape pictures. However, for almost two (2) years my main priority was to deal with my cancer, spending much time on Landscape photography was no longer an option. It looks like that 2019 will allow me to start back up to spend some time on it and blog about it.
For me, Landscape photography covers spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes.
This introduction to landscape photography covers everything you need to know to get started and bring home some spectacular images.
My goal is to cover these five main areas of Landscape Photography in addition to Landscape Photos:
- Basic gear and settings
- Scouting and photographing landscapes
- Working with light
