2018-08-09 Recovery Day 521

Today was a good day with no side effects or pains (the exception being the surgery related shoulder pain). Since I was very active in the morning, I was surprised to learn that I was able to control my pain effectively. I did, however, require lots of rest in the afternoon.

2018-07-12 Recovery Day 493

Today was a somewhat good day. I had no diarrhea until about 4:30. In between I had a good BM around 13:30 which was not totally solid, more of a mashed potato type. We took this one to the lap for analysis. We are back to watch for diarrhea the rest of the day! I am not taking any chances and therefore I am staying on the special BRAT diet.

2018-07-11 Recovery Day 492

Today was a so-so day. I had diarrhea only in the early morning around 2:30. No diarrhea for the rest of the day! However my energy level was way down. Dianne accredits this to a lack of hydration. Not taking chances I stayed on the special BRAT diet. My oncology doctor, talking with Dianne agreed for me to come in and get to IV hydration.

2018-07-10 Recovery Day 491

Today was almost a good day. The bad news, the diarrhea was back! The good news it was not as bad as before where I had to go every hour. 2018-07-06 Recovery Day 487

Today was yet another good day even with yesterday being a treatment day which sometimes comes with some side effects. It seems none today. I got up around my normal weekday time which is 6:30. How ever since Dianne was still on vacation, we got up a bit later to a good breakfast. There where no health related complaints, such as stomach problems or bone pains, only a little bit shoulder discomfort.

Another colorful Sunrise

Thanks to the break in our rain pattern and a very cold (29F/-2C) morning we have another colorful sunrise. This one is just to nice to pass by, specially since the weather forecast is that the next 9 days will be bringing much needed rain to our area. With all that rain being predicted we will see limited sunshine, if any at all. This will be a challenge for my landscape photography as I will have to deal with dark over-casted darker skies for the upcoming days.

Weekend Evening Sky Colors – Project 365

For the last few nights we got some great eveing sky colors, I finally decided on Saturday to catch those colors. On Sunday we had another great display of these colorful evening clouds, so in preparation for the Super Moon Eclipse, I took some more photos. I was hoping the clouds would cleared to catch the Eclipse, but no such luck this time around. Lucky I took those earlier photos.
