Today was another good day! Again, health-wise things were what I call normal for now. I had some early stomach cramps in the morning, leftover side effects of the Dilaudid I had taken a few days ago. The good news, with Dilaudid cycle, almost gone away, things are now 99% back to normal. As to my shoulder pain, it is stable, staying at an acceptable level, which I can lower if needed with some Tylenol. No other health-related issues have been showing up such as ankle and/or hip pains.
I am continuing with yet another great day! Health-wise, there has been a slight change regarding my left leg. The ankle’s pain location has moved up a bit and the hip pain got stronger. Walking does no longer help in reducing the pain level, the good news, it does not increase either. For now, all I can do is watch the next few days which way it will go.
Today was another good day. Good days are those that start off with no dizziness, stomach queasiness or bone pain. For the rest of the day there should be no pain except for the surgery related shoulder pain and depending on the actives some back pain that will go away with resting or by taking some Tylenol. Today was such a day, with a little bit of back pain from the garden activity, see below.
Health-wise things have turned around. Like yesterday I still had dizziness after getting up which I got under control with Meclizine, and like yesterday I played it safe by having toast and tea for breakfast. The good news, there was no shoulder, hip and bone pain. My wife joined me for my morning walk through our Sterling Hills Neighborhood. I enjoyed the walk, specially since I was pain free.
Another fine sunny and warm day. Health wise every thing is OK, no change in my morning routine, starting with a good breakfast, taking afterwards my morning medication and getting ready for my morning walk with Dean. The walk took a bit longer because of me taken many point and shoot photos. More about that in a separate blog entry sometime this week.
After some delays the city did find the funding needed to have its own eBART Station, which will between Railroad Ave and Haubor St. Interesting enough, the entrances will be from both side of the Railroad Bridge. There is no delegated property with parking lot and entrance building with a overpass to the tracks as for the North Concord, Bay Point/Pittsburg and Hillcrest Stations.
Had to drop of my car for an oil change to get ready to go South for the Labour Day Weekend. So I spend some time along the nearby Delta de Anza Trail. After walking for about 1/2 mile, my way was blocked by some work crew and their equipment on the trail, not allowing anyone to pass by. Some walkers were not happy to have to turn back since there was no warning at the start of the trail that a portion was closed. Since I had to walk back anyways to pickup my car, I decided to take a few photos before doing so of the work crew trying to clean the Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) Water Canal that runs parallel to the trail.
Time to check on the progress of the work on widening Highway 4. It has been a month since the last set of photos taken from the G-Street bridge. There has been a lot of progress, both road surfaces have been completed, all that is needed is to add the concrete center divider-walls before opening all four lanes for each direction from Somersville Road to at least L Street if not A Street.
Had dinner at “The Dead Fish” in Crockett" and use the opportunity to take a view pictures around the Carquinez Strait. Photos include the views of the old and new span of the Carquinez Bridge and shoots across the Strait.

The Hillcrest Overpass across Highway 4 is now being worked on. Both sides of the bridges will be extended by a lane and wider sidewalks. These photos were taken west of the bridge from E Tregallas Road. BTW, one of the photos is not of the overpass.
