Today was a *GOOD day, no real issues getting up. After my upstairs morning routine I went downstairs having breakfast that Dianne had prepared. As to daily symptoms, I found an iPhone app that records my symptoms during the day. The day is broken down into 4 sections, Nite, AM, Mid and PM. It helps me when trying to figure out when I had what symptom and the level of it. There are 5 levels to select from for each symptom.
I am continuing with yet another great day! Health-wise, there has been a slight change regarding my left leg. The ankle’s pain location has moved up a bit and the hip pain got stronger. Walking does no longer help in reducing the pain level, the good news, it does not increase either. For now, all I can do is watch the next few days which way it will go.
Today was almost a good day. I still have the dizziness and stomach queasiness after getting up. For details start reading posting 2018-08-10 Recovery Day 522. I am also still waiting for the Transderm Scop (Scopolamine) patch to kick in. Being the 3rd day after my treatment day, I experienced bone pains as a side effect from the Zometa. The pain level was reduced because of taking Claritin-D before and after treatment. Today I also had for the first time lightheadedness after lunch. On the positive side, I did not have diarrhea like the last time.
Another good day that started with dizziness and my stomach queasiness after getting up. I will skip the details since I mention them for the last few days. As to the Transderm Scop (Scopolamine) patch, it seems not to work. I give it another chance tomorrow when Parch Day is.
I still fall asleep unexpectedly and constantly, it happens mostly after lunch. Today it happened at the start of my treatment session.
Today was another good day with a repeat of dizziness and my stomach queasiness when first getting up. A repeat of what happened 4 days ago, out of 4 days I had 3 days of these symptoms. One issue causing this maybe the Transderm Scop (Scopolamine) patch which I stopped applying because I no longer had the dizziness and stomach issues. Transderm Scop is an anticholinergic drug patch applied to the skin used to prevent nausea and vomiting. Guess since the symptoms are back I will apply the patch again and see if the dizziness and my stomach queasiness will go away.
Today was another good day. Sleeping was not perfect as I was up every 2 hours. Being Saturday I slept in to almost 7:00. Since I have had no diarrhea for the last 36 hours I had a normal breakfast of Belgian waffle with strawberries. The rest of the day was without any signs of diarrhea or other stomach related pains.
Today was a good day. Sleeping was OK no diarrhea not even after getting up at 6:30. It seemed to be repeat of yesterday with my first Bow Movement (BM) which was almost regular just before Breakfast. For Breakfast I had my regular bun with strawberry and rhubarb jam. I took the 3 pills of the special medication after breakfast. Like yesterday, for the rest of the day I had no further BM. As to my cancer linked pains, all I felt today was some pain on both of my shoulder blades.
Today was starting to become a better day. Sleeping was OK no diarrhea not even after getting up at 6:30. I had my first Bow Movement (BM) which was 90% solids just before Breakfast. For Breakfast I had Oatmeal to start getting off the Brat Diet. I took the 3 pills of the special medication after Breakfast. For the rest of the day I had no further BM. As to my cancer linked pains and their levels, they were either not notable or at their lowest level. For dinner I had a German Alphabet Noodle Soup with a toasted bun. Afterwards I took the 3 pills of the special medication.
Today was a better day. The diarrhea seemed to start to get under control. I only got up once last night. As to the day itself, I only had to go once around 8:30. The rest of the day I started feeling better as the day moved along. For lunch and dinner I stuck to the BRAT diet. I hope that the improvement will continue through the tonight.
Today was another bad day. The diarrhea continued to keep me up all night and continued through the day. I was able to have the BRAT breakfast and lunch. Since I stayed at home today, I decided to take PHOTOS of things in our backyard, such as the many garden nick-nacks we have. Slowly during the afternoon my discomfort improved a bit, but not enough that one can call it is over.
