Today I continued with my recovery from the complex eye surgery. Besides resting I also had to administer daily eyedrops, 2 different ones four times a day, snd one twice the day for a few months to make sure no more blood leaking into the front of the Retina. I can see that my vision is slowing improving, which is great.
Today started off recuperating from last night’s not feeling well. I spend all morning resting, eating only toast and drinking tea. After lunch it was time to get ready to go to UCSF’s COVID Test Site on Laurel Heights Campus in San Francisco. After returning home, I rested some more to ensure full recovery.
Today was a busy day, health-wise my ‘normal’ pain and activity-wise my ‘normal’ levels were all over the board, low as 3/2 and as high as 5/4. To report when was what level for how long, would be to complex and most likely not very accurate.

Today was another busy day having to go to SF for a special doctor appointment to look after my eye and still finding time to do some shopping and working on my today’s blog entry. Health-wise it was not too bad my shoulder and back pain was at a very low level because I was sitting for most of the day, however, getting up and walking did raise the levels very high. Overall it was a good day.

Today was a bad day. My pain levels were high OK for most of the day, taking in to account the somewhat long walks within the eye clinic. The bad part was the lack of activities because of the 4 hours of travel time and the aftereffect of dilation.

Today was a busy but good day. My pain levels were low after getting up but increased during the activities in preparation for our trip to UCSF. The levels got a bit lower during the drive, but increased during the appointment time and have stayed at a higher level for the rest of the day.
Last Night – January 22, at 20:05:40 PST, 48°F Clear, Antioch, CA
After submitting yesterday’s blog entry, I had an accident, which did not get recorded as it was too late and the type of accident did not help to make an adjustment to the blog entry.
After getting ready to go to bed, I started to walk up the stairs to our bedroom, after about three steps I remembered that I forgot something and turned around to go back down. As I walk down I miscounted the step I was on, thinking I was down three I actually was on two, causing me to fall down onto my side.
Starting the Day – 06:14:01 PST, 48°F Mostly Cloudy, Antioch, CA
Since our appointment was half an hour earlier than that on Saturday, and some non-federal workers had to go to work, we needed to go earlier to UCSF. We got up earlier, as in 6:15. Our goal leave for UCSF not later than 9:30.
