Today was a excellent day, it started off not to good as I got up late, which required adjusting the time for eating breakfast around taking my Antiobiotics and leaving for the Relay for Life opening ceremony. Dianne figured it out, we were a bit late to arrive at the relay location, but so was the start of the relay.
Today was a good day, it started off with a small problem after having finished my breakfast and taking my morning medication by 8:00 am. Sweating was not an issue until I started to look for my glasses, it took me 45 minutes before I found them in a place that I have never placed them before. The activity to look everywhere which meant walking everywhere throughout the house, got me sweating. Because of the delay in getting ready for my walk, we did not start our walk until 9:15. Overall my Oxygen Saturation Level stayed around 95% during resting and inside small activities, like making breakfast, dropping down to 92% for bigger ones. During the walk is was between 90-92%, recovery to 95% after resting.
Today was another so-so day, as to my sleep is back to the normal pattern. I again got up at 7:00 to have completed my breakfast and take my morning medication by 8:00. This morning I did not sweat much as I prepared for my morning walk. I ran into some problem during my walk, using the Portable Oxygen Concentrator, in that my Oxygen Saturation Level was not getting above 92%, requiring more to have more stops to rest. The reason was that one of my nostrils was plugged up. After my walk, I rested with oxygen for about 5 minutes which got my levels back up. After lunch, I went for some hydration at the cancer center helping to bring my energy level back.
Today was better day which for the most part I do not remember. I started to get up around 8:00 and have breakfast. I checked with Dean to start our walk an hour earlier, we agreed to start our walk at 8:45 since Dean needed to take his sister to the doctor. Even with walking 75 minutes earlier, the heat has forced not only us but others to start their exercise program earlier.
Today was a better day. Health-wise the day was a better day, my stomach started to cooperate. I still only ate white rice with applesauce for breakfast and lunch. For dinner, I had chicken noodle soup and toast. As to my hydration issue, I did not need any today.
Today was another so-so day. Health-wise the day was again a repeat of yesterday, my stomach just would not cooperate. I went after lunch to the cancer center to get again some hydration. After the hydration, I returned home to rest to make sure my stomach problems stayed under control.
Today was another so-so day. Health-wise the day was almost a repeat of yesterday, my stomach just would not cooperate. Like yesterday, I went to the cancer center to get again some hydration. After the hydration, I stay there for most of the day to make sure my stomach problems stayed under control. Dianne and I went home around 4:00.
Today was another bad day. Health-wise the day was almost a repeat of yesterday, my stomach just would not cooperate. However, unlike yesterday, I went to see my Oncology doctor hoping to see if she would know what to do to help my current situation. For starters, she ordered that I get some hydration immediately. In addition, she prescribed some medication to help with my stomach problems. I spend the next few hours getting hydrated before Dianne took me back home.
Yesterday I mention that the general wisdom is that day 4, is the day where all three cancer medications doing their thing. That the good news, the bad news, those inner melting activities causing much, much pain, lightheadedness and lack of energy. Since today is day 5, why do I bring this back up?
