This set of photos were taken from the Black Diamond Middle School football field, showing Mount Diablo with a snow cover that goes down to the foothill level. This snow cover is one of the best since the one in 1991.
Today was again not a good day, but a better day. For the most part, today was a repeat of the last five days, dealing with stomach cramps, dizziness, sweating and lack of concentration. After breakfast I rested until the outside temperature was about 40F, it was 34F earlier this morning. As to my health issues, for most of the day, I had light stomach cramps and dizziness, sweating after strong activities and, a lack of concentration.
Switch instead of Nature Photography it is Landscape Photography. Since yesterday there is snow on Mount Diablo. Yesterday there was not a good view because of heavy overcast. Today it was better, only a bit of haze.
Today was not a good day. For the most part, today was a repeat of the last three days, dealing with stomach cramps, dizziness, sweating and lack of concentration. Like yesterday, I had a hard time doing anything because of the lack of energy. I dozed off many times, which did not help to get things done. Hopefully, soon there will be a better day.
Today’s subject was the White Cyclamen in our backyard. Yesterday’s set was about the Red Cyclamen. The Cyclamen is part of the primrose family of flowers. As before, I used the Auto+, Program, and Aperture Modes for each set with four different f-stops and focal lengths. This gives me enough photos to figure out which combination of settings does what and which to use in the future. Today I used two different directions for shooting.
Today was a very bad day, it was so bad by the end of the day that I was not able to finish my work on the Living with Cancer and Photography blog entries until today.
The day started off OK, but it did not take long for the status to change quickly to bad. My shoulder was the first to start with tightening up which also started to hurt. In the past, I would take some Tylenol for the pain, which did nothing today. Next was my stomach, besides the pain, my mouth was filled with some bad metallic taste. I have had this before and was told that it is a side effect mostly from the chemo treatment. Guess I will have to live with it for now.
Today was health-wise a very bad day, limiting me to stay home. Therefore my photo subjects were also limited. I decided to take another set of PICTURES featuring our Backyard Friends, a Squirrel, and many different birds. I had hoped to get more photos, but sometimes you don’t get what you want.
The negative part of taking the photos is that I did not have a longer lens for my Sony SLT-A77, maybe I should have used my Panasonic DC-ZS70 or Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80 camera. There is always – next time!
Another day trying to take pictures of Mount Diablo from another location that was not used before. I decided to revisit the Marsh Creek Reservoir, the first time I went Mount Diablo was not visible because of Haze. Vicky, our ex-neighbor, suggested this location for a number of reasons. In addition to Mount Diablo, I also took some PICTURES of the Marsh Creek Reservoir.
Today was another so-so day, starting off the way the last seven days did. Getting up, I noticed tightness in my shoulder which was hurting as well, something that I had not before. The tightness/ain stayed around for most of the day, even after resting at home. In the past, I would take some Tylenol for the pain, which I did but it did not help today. Besides the pain, my mouth was filled with some bad taste. I have had this before and was told that it is a side effect mostly from the chemo treatment. Guess I will have to live with it for now.
Another day trying to take pictures of Mount Diablo from another location that was not used before. I decided to go to the Marsh Creek Reservoir. Vicky, our ex-neighbor, suggested this location for a number of reasons, however, again no Mount Diablo was visible. I, therefore, went to plan B, taking PICTURES of things around the Marsh Creek Reservoir.
