Today was another so-so day. As is normal for weekdays I wake around 5:00 AM when Dianne gets ready for work. I check my temperature and the overall status of my Dizziness, Stomach issues, and Sleep Apnea. This morning was no different, except with the results, I had a high temperature of 100F and was sweating. Because of it, I went back to sleep. By 8:00 the temperature was still high 99.5F, so I stayed in bed. I checked again at 9:00, the same result. At 10:00 still no change, but it was time to get up and go downstairs, which I did.
Today was lazy Sunday morning. I slept in until about 8:30. I got dressed and went downstairs to have some breakfast. Dianne hooked me up to hydration which ended just as it was at lunchtime. Dianne had cleaned my downstairs satellite office (the recliner area). After lunch, I rested a bit since I was running a high temperature of a 99.1F.
Today was another Not So Good Day. I got up again round 7:30 to do my morning chores before going downstairs. Getting downstairs my headache from yesterday was back, this time at a much lower level. Today, the walk was very taxing on my system, I therefore rested watching some recorded TV games such as the NFL Raiders game, and the Bundesliga game by Dortmund.
Today was another good day, the night was again a bit better than yesterday, I still sweat during the night at a very, very low level. Because of the time change for taking the Voriconazole Antibiotics from 7am/7pm to 9am/9am my morning routine changed. Breakfast must be before 8:00 am, however, dinner now can be over as late as 8:00 pm. However, this change goes very well with our starting time for the morning walk, which starts around 9:00 am. As to my oxygen use, I had to use during the morning walk and after lunch because of the preparation and the visit of my ex-colleagues from Premenos. For the rest of the day, there was no need to use oxygen, except during the demonstration of the portable unit which arrived in the afternoon.
Today was another day at the hospital. It started at 02:00 when I woke up with the need to vomit, it turned out to be dry-heaving only. I went back to sleep until 07:00 at which time I took my special antibiotic pills. I took my regular morning pill a bit later. Before breakfast, I received a Breathing Treatment. My vitals were checked regularly. For the rest of the day, I rested or did some walking.
Today was almost a good Day, it was much better than yesterday regarding the dizziness, stomach cramps and sweating. Instead, my leg and hip muscles hurt a bit and also had to deal with some stiffness. The muscle symptoms stayed around for most of the day, especially depending on the activity I was active in. In summary, health-wise today was a very so-so Day.
Today, day two after our all-day therapy, was another so-so day, thanks for the Dilaudid I took since yesterday afternoon on a regular schedule. However, Dianne reminded me that the Dilaudid is to be used as a breakthrough relieve, only to be taken when the regular pain medication, in my case the Fentanyl Patch is not doing its job. Since the dosage was just increased, we have to wait to see how it works out. For now, I will stop taking any more Dilaudid unless my pain levels don’t go down.
Today was Treatment Day which is an all-day affair. It means that selecting a subject area for taking pictures off is difficult. I noticed, after settling in at the Infusion Room, that it still had the Ballon Figures that were left by Mark of the Cancer Support Group the week before. They became today’s subjects.
Today was a BETTER day, with me taken my stomach and Dizziness medication as a precaution at 4:00 AM. The Medication seemed to work since I had no issues getting up at 8:00 getting dressed and having had breakfast. However, shortly after that, my stomach got a bit quizzy and the dizziness was back at full discomfort.
Today was a BAD day, it started around 4:00 in the morning, I took Zofran to help with my stomach issues and meclizine for the dizziness. The Medication did its job allowing me to sleep until 8:00 AM. I had some toast for breakfast, however, for the rest of the morning, the dizziness and stomach issues came slowly back.
