Today was Treatment Day which is an all-day affair. It means that selecting a subject area for taking pictures off is difficult. I noticed, after settling in at the Infusion Room, that it still had the Ballon Figures that were left by Mark of the Cancer Support Group the week before. They became today’s subjects.
Today was a BETTER day, with me taken my stomach and Dizziness medication as a precaution at 4:00 AM. The Medication seemed to work since I had no issues getting up at 8:00 getting dressed and having had breakfast. However, shortly after that, my stomach got a bit quizzy and the dizziness was back at full discomfort.
Today was a BAD day, it started around 4:00 in the morning, I took Zofran to help with my stomach issues and meclizine for the dizziness. The Medication did its job allowing me to sleep until 8:00 AM. I had some toast for breakfast, however, for the rest of the morning, the dizziness and stomach issues came slowly back.
Today was another so-so day, I slept until 9:00 and woke up with a sore throat. I went downstairs to have a light breakfast. Checking my temperature, it was a bit high. So I took some Tylenol to bring the temperature down. As to my shoulder and lower back pain, it still was there. With all my ailments I stayed inside resting for the day, getting up every so often.
Today was another good day with no Health-related issue, even my stomach cooperating again. My shoulder pain/discomfort was not noticeable for most of the day. All around it was a good day, maybe because I again restricted my activities to the bare minimum to ensure not to overdo it, which normally ends up with my system crashing.
Today was a great day, with no health issues all day long. It could have been an excellent day had it not been for some soreness in my joints, such as my knees, hips, etc. There is nothing else to add.
Today was a good day. No dizziness and stomach queasiness at the start of my day! Even the bone pain in both of my hips seems to be gone, which normally stops a day or two earlier after treatment. Normally it lasts no more than 4 days after treatment, this time it took 6 days. I expected to be tired for most of the day after yesterdays long day which lasted to around 11:00 PM. In summary, today was a good day.
Let’s start by explaining why this posting was not available yesterday – IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY HEALTH ISSUE!!! It was the lack of time as you will see in a moment.
Today (22nd August) was a good day, again with some unexciting start of the day. Getting up I had to rush to the bathroom because of some dry-heaving which lasted about 5 minutes. I went back to bed for an hour and getting a second time up, no dizziness and stomach queasiness for the rest of the day, which was important since I had signed up for some late evening session with the East Bay Regional Park District part of my Docent training.
Healthwise another good day. No hip pains during my walk, nor any needle and pins pains on my right body side. I started yesterday taking Pomalyst, the chemo pill, again. No side effects today, which is as expected based on the past of taking Pomalyst. If any side effects, they will show up over the weekend. Because of diarrhea, the dosage was reduced from 4mg to 3mg. We will know soon if the adjustment will limit the side effects or not.
Health wise today was another good day. No real pain, except for the new needle and pins pain on my right side that shows up when I bend. No hip pain during my walk today. Now that the diarrhea is gone, I will start again with taking Pomalyst, the chemo pill. Activity wise I had a good day which started off on the wrong foot. As to my photos, they are different as I started with something new.
