Today was another good day. No problem with starting the day, we changed our starting time for our morning walk from 9:00 to 8:00. Now I get up at 7:00, which gives me enough time for getting dressed, and having a good breakfast, and getting ready for our walk, all before 8:00. Today’s morning walk was a good, no problems at all, Oxygen Saturation Levels look good, 96% at start without oxygen, with Oxygen 98%, 30 minutes later at turning point 90%, 2 and 3 minutes later 94%, returning back home at end of walk 92% recovery to 95% within 5 minutes. During the day without Oxygen, it is in the range between 96-98%. Getting back home I rested for a bit before getting ready for Dean to pick me up to and drop me off at the Cancer Center for the Cancer Support Group meeting at 1:00 PM.
Today was another so-so day, as to my sleep is back to the normal pattern. I again got up at 7:00 to have completed my breakfast and take my morning medication by 8:00. This morning I did not sweat much as I prepared for my morning walk. I ran into some problem during my walk, using the Portable Oxygen Concentrator, in that my Oxygen Saturation Level was not getting above 92%, requiring more to have more stops to rest. The reason was that one of my nostrils was plugged up. After my walk, I rested with oxygen for about 5 minutes which got my levels back up. After lunch, I went for some hydration at the cancer center helping to bring my energy level back.
Today was a so-so day, my sleep has improved, almost back to the normal pattern. Around 4:00 my stomach did not feel too good, so I took a Zofran. Because of the change in schedule for my Voriconazole Antibiotics, I got up at 7:00 to have completed my breakfast and take my morning medication by 8:00. After 8:00 I prepared for my morning walk using the Portable Oxygen Concentrator. Halfway through the preparation, I broke out in heavy sweat that lasted just be for starting our walk.
Today was another good day, the night was again a bit better than yesterday, I still sweat during the night at a very, very low level. Because of the time change for taking the Voriconazole Antibiotics from 7am/7pm to 9am/9am my morning routine changed. Breakfast must be before 8:00 am, however, dinner now can be over as late as 8:00 pm. However, this change goes very well with our starting time for the morning walk, which starts around 9:00 am. As to my oxygen use, I had to use during the morning walk and after lunch because of the preparation and the visit of my ex-colleagues from Premenos. For the rest of the day, there was no need to use oxygen, except during the demonstration of the portable unit which arrived in the afternoon.
