For starters, I have changed the title of my postings as well as the Blog Title from Road to Recovery to Living with Cancer. The reason being is that the cancer I have, Multiple Myeloma (MM), has no cure. All that can be done is to treat the cancer and hope to achieve remission.
Today was a good day, that did not start off too well. Getting up I encountered stomach queasiness that lasted for a few hours. However, I had no dizziness or back pain. I did have all day some on and off bone pain in my right side, hip and knee. However, overall it was a good day even with limited issues in the morning. This is the third day after my full-day treatment and in the past, Saturday and Sunday were really bad days. Today was nothing like it was in the past.
Today was a good day with no side effects or pains (the exception being the surgery related shoulder pain). Since I was very active in the morning, I was surprised to learn that I was able to control my pain effectively. I did, however, require lots of rest in the afternoon.
Today was a good day with some odd things. For starters no side effects or pains (the exception being the surgery related shoulder pain). As to the side effect part, I said none, but the odd thing I mention may have been a side effect or is due to the pollution? We still have to deal with severe air pollution caused by the nearby wildfires. It is starting to affect our breathing.
Today started off where the pain left me last night and all night. Besides the pain there was no signs of dizziness or nausea in the morning. I delayed my breakfast for an hour before having a light one, toast and tea. My pain did not go away, I did take a Dilaudid around 9:00, the pain level dropped a little bit but not by much. I decided to go for a short walk with Dean little bit after 11:00, getting back by 12:00. Intresting enough after getting back home from the walk, the pain level was very low.
