2019-03-16 Living with Cancer – Day 740

Today was another good day that started with no dizziness or stomach issues which lasted that way all day. I did encounter some shoulder and hip pains, but those were triggered by activities, such as sitting too long in the car or restaurant or walking a long way with only a cane, not my two walking sticks. For my hip pain, I took Tylenol Arthritis which lowered the hip pain. Overall it was a good day.

2019-03-15 Living with Cancer – Day 739

Today was another good day almost identical to yesterday. Getting downstairs after getting dressed, it took only a few minutes that I started to sweat again. However, it was a light sweat that only lasted about 30 minutes. For the rest of the day, I only had minor pain on my shoulders. For my hip pain, I took Tylenol Arthritis which seemed to have lowered the pain, I will have to keep track of it too if it really is helping. Today no dizziness nor stomach issues. Again, this may have been due to me taking the medication for it at 05:00 in the morning.

2019-03-14 – Nature Photography – Flowers – Road in Bloom

Today was a somewhat good day for photography. The sunshine helped but the wind interfered sometimes with the perfect shoot. These pictures during my morning walk along Country Hills Drive. Both sides of Country Hill Drive from Deer Valley Road to Lone Tree Way, where having trees in full bloom.

2019-03-13 Living with Cancer – Day 737

Today was a good day with many challenges. For starters I had to get up very early 6:30, so that Denise could drop me off before 7:30 at the cancer center for my PET/CT. The challenges were to lie still for a number of scan session. Doing so, lying on my back where all my pain points take a bit of doing. However, I made it without the need to redo any scan. Getting back home, I started to feel the various spots that I was lying on, all that I was able to do was resting, which did feel good.

2019-03-11 Living with Cancer – Day 735

Today was a better day. For starters getting up early to go for our morning walk at 9:00 instead of 10:00 is actually two hours earlier not one. I leave it to you to figure out how the change to Daylight Saving time affected the calculation. Getting up I had to deal with Sweat, Dizziness and Stomach issues.

2019-03-11 – Nature Photography – Birds – Red Robins and Friends

This set contains photos of Red Robins and other birds having lunch in our backyard. It was close to noon, lunchtime when our backyard was invaded by mostly Red Robins to pick bugs that were in the lawn. They left after having eating enough bugs and other stuff they found.

2019-03-10 Living with Cancer – Day 734

Today was a better day, but still not a good day. Things were a bit better after getting up. Every one of my pain locations was active. The Dilaudid I had taken hours before did help in reducing my pain a little bit. However, I still had to deal with dizziness and stomach cramps throughout for the rest of the day. AS I did for the last few days all I could do is rest to keep things in check.
