2019-02-04 Living with Cancer – Day 700

Today was not a good day. For most part, today was a repeat of yesterday, dealing with stomach cramps, dizziness, sweating and lack of concentration. I had a hard time doing anything as I dozed off many times, which did not help to get things done. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

2019-02-04- Nature Photography – Flowers – Amaryllis

With all that rain today I selected to take photos of the Amaryllis that has not opened yet. The plant is currently in a pot which allowed me to move it to stay dry.

As before, I used the Auto+, Program, and Aperture Modes for each set with four different f-stops and focal lengths. This gives me enough photos to figure out which combination of settings does what and which to use in the future. Today I used only one directions for shooting.

2019-01-20 Living with Cancer – Day 685

Today was another so-so day, starting off the way the last seven days did. Getting up, I noticed tightness in my shoulder which was hurting as well, something that I had not before. The tightness/ain stayed around for most of the day, even after resting at home. In the past, I would take some Tylenol for the pain, which I did but it did not help today. Besides the pain, my mouth was filled with some bad taste. I have had this before and was told that it is a side effect mostly from the chemo treatment. Guess I will have to live with it for now.

2019-01-18 Living with Cancer – Day 683

Today was another so-so day, which seems to be for now a routine day. Taking my Zofran (Stomach) and Meclizine (Dizziness) around 3:00 to 4:00 AM as a preventive measure seems to be working very well. However I still have to deal with the sweating side effect, flushing the radiation toxin when being a bit active. There is no real trigger, the one I can repeat is walking up the stairs, however, my morning walk does not always trigger it. I may sweat during the walk, or at the end, but there are as many days I don’t sweat during my morning walk or at the end. I have not been able to identify a sure repeatable pattern.

2019-01-18 – Nature Photography, The day after the Rain

The first day without rain. Today’s subject was The day after the Rain. All PICTURES were taken outside around my house catching the sky with different cloud formation. There are a few photos that show a heavy overcast with the sun trying to break through. Tomorrow we should see a clearer sky for a bit as the rain will be moving in again for Sunday.

2019-01-17 Living with Cancer – Day 682

Today was another so-so day, I continued with yesterday’s new text on taking my Zofran (Stomach) and Meclizine (Dizziness) at 4:00 AM as a preventive measure. It has worked today as well, day two of the new text. As with yesterday, I had to deal with sweating without having been active. And as to my Shoulder and Lower Back discomfort/Pain, it started to show up after I returned home from my morning walk and stayed active until for most of the rest of the day.

2019-01-16 Living with Cancer – Day 681

Today was another so-so day, I tried something new, I took my Zofran (Stomach) and Meclizine (Dizziness) at 4:00 AM as a preventive measure. It seemed to have worked since neither showed up all day. However, instead, I had to deal with sweating without having been active. As to my Shoulder and Lower Back discomfort/Pain, it started to show up just before the end of my morning walk and stayed active until the resting for a bit after lunch.

2019-01-15 – Landscape Photography, Signs of Rain

Because of rain and my health condition I was restricted to stay home. There were not many subjects to take pictures of. After thinking or awhile I decided that the set for today’s PICTURES was to look for subjects in my backyard that somehow show something link to rain, for example, raindrops hitting the water surface of the birdbath.
